Booksmith › For cleaning businesses

Online booking for cleaners

Weekly cleans that
book themselves forever.

A cleaning round is a diary of repeats with one-offs squeezed between. Booksmith holds the weekly and fortnightly regulars automatically, lets new customers book a quote visit while you're mid-clean, and takes deposits on the one-off deep cleans that have a habit of evaporating.

You can't answer the phone
with your hands in an oven.

New customers ring while you're scrubbing someone else's kitchen, get voicemail, and ring the next cleaner on the list. A booking page turns those calls into booked quote visits: they pick a slot from your genuine gaps, tell you about the house, and it's in your diary before you've rinsed the sponge.

A round day with Booksmith

The round runs; the diary keeps up.

  1. 07:30

    Today's round in one email

The agenda lists every job with the notes that matter: key safe code question answered at booking, the dog that needs shutting in the kitchen, the fortnightly that's this week.

  2. 12:10

    A quote visit books itself

New customer found you on Google, picked Thursday 4pm from your real availability, and answered your questions: bedrooms, bathrooms, pets, parking. You quote on site and win it.

  3. 18:00

    The regulars roll forward

Weekly and fortnightly cleans repeat on their cycles without anyone touching anything. Holiday coming? Block the week out and every affected customer's reminder reflects it.

Built for the round

What cleaning businesses actually use.

Repeating cleans on any cycle

Weekly, fortnightly or four-weekly regulars hold their slot indefinitely, with confirmations and reminders per visit. One-off skips don't break the pattern.

Quote visits as a bookable service

A 20-minute quote visit with its own availability, so new business books itself into the gaps you choose, not into the middle of your round.

The questions you'd ask on the phone

Bedrooms, bathrooms, pets, parking, access arrangements: asked at booking, answered before you arrive, printed on your morning list.

Deposits on the disappearing jobs

End-of-tenancy and one-off deep cleans can take a card deposit at booking. The Saturday deep clean that cancels at 8am stops costing you the day.

A diary per cleaner

Teams get a column each, with their own areas, hours and jobs. You see the whole operation; each cleaner sees their day.

Reviews while the house still smells clean

A couple of hours after the job, customers get your Google review link. Rounds are built on local reputation; this compounds it.

Questions from cleaners

Asked mid-round, answered straight.

Can regular cleans repeat automatically?

Yes, on whatever cycle each customer has: weekly, fortnightly or longer. Each visit sends its own reminder, and cancelling one visit, or the whole arrangement, takes two clicks.

Can new customers book a quote visit rather than a clean?

Yes. Make the quote visit its own service with its own length and availability. Many cleaners only expose quote visits online and keep actual cleans admin-booked after quoting.

How do access details and keys work?

Ask at booking: key safe, on the latch, neighbour, meet at the door. Answers sit on the booking and your morning agenda. Sensitive details can be kept to admin-only notes.

Does it handle a small team?

Yes. Each cleaner has their own diary, hours and services, and customers can be booked with a specific cleaner or whoever's available. £75 a month covers the lot; there's no per-cleaner charge.
